Playful Pepper Mills

Artist Fabian Fink and Jakob Posch (Aito) have produced a small series of playful pepper mills, each turned individually on the lathe and hand-carved. Every piece has its own character, with subtle variations in form and texture.

Their ongoing artistic collaboration involves exchanging pieces and responding to each other’s gestures, creating a quiet dialogue of form and process. The result is a series of objects that are both practical and sculptural.

Each mill features an adjustable CrushGrind ceramic mechanism for fine or coarse salt and pepper. They are finished with natural linseed oil, which protects the wood and enhances its colour while leaving the tactile grain exposed.
